Disciplinspiration

Not all punishments are physical…
Mental is My specialty, Daddy’s dedication.
Not only to correct, but to prevent
Constantly teaching, rarely correcting
For there is no need.
The child who wishes to be good for the sake of being pleasing
Is more virtuous than the child who merely wishes to avoid discipline
A chore enjoyed is not a chore,
A little pleasure to stay the  bore.
Pavlov’s principles put into practice
I’d rather the good girl, not the good actress
Innate obedience, nurtured, refined
A perfect reason to have spent so much time
Sculpting, crafting,
Forging, molding
Merely refining, smoothing some edges
While sharpening others whetstone in hand.
My Venus de Milo, My Sistine Chapel
Created with loving hand, not hacking scalpel.
